Normally, puzzles games of this type give a paltry 20-some levels. The amount of content in this game is incredible. Furthermore, the puzzles are not trivial - they require some cleverness and careful deduction. Well done! 5 stars!
A nice idle game - I like the cascading recipes. One feature I think would be nice is a sell button (like s+click) so that you can satisfy us OCD types who accidentally buy too many of a herb (It's so nice when you have a no-waste machine going)
So, here are my suggestions:
1. Add a minimap. When there are only 2 people playing, it's tiresome to search such a huge map.
2. If there's nobody else on, there's no challenge.
3. Change the skill tree visualization so people can plan ahead
4. Allow full upgrades (right now, there aren't enough skill points)
5. There is a bug where you don't get a skill point on lvl up sometimes
6. The recoil is nice in concept, but kind of annoying for gameplay
7. Make max speed even faster for more challenge between players
Fun idea, and needs balancing - make it so that one could reasonably figure out who the culprit is without guessing within the amount of AP given. Distinguishing more clearly between "average body" etc in the artwork would be helpful
I absolutely am addicted to this game. There are two very frustrating things though - frustration is ok, as long as the player is in control of it. In this case, when you target yourself with your massive Obliterate spell, and one-hit kill yourself when an enemy decides to run into the shadows. It's frustrating getting to level 20 only to accidentally kill yourself. It's like putting the quit game button on the same button as the attack button, which sucks. It would be simple to code in an if statement to prevent self-targeting with offensive spells. Second, it also sucks to be all alone after a big battle only to struggle to with getting your flux back in control when it's at like 600 - heal spells don't outpace the random HP drain effects of overfluxing, so it makes it next to impossible to escape a massive overflux that was unavoidable due to the number of enemies.
Bit of a glitch... got stuck on the Fire Boss. Everyone attacked at once, and I got cornered. Hit the town button and got stuck dying over and over again in the same spot.
This game would be much more entertaining on a touch screen. As is it, on a computer, it really is difficult to maintain the correct precision to tap the tiles you want. Combos is a good idea, but it would be very helpful to have a side-bar chart to remind you of what the combos are.
Thanks for the feedback.
The game will be released as touch screen game soon :).
The combo menu is accessible through the pause game menu which can be reached by pressing "esc" but the idea of having a more obvious and faster way to see which combos a player has is good idea, I'll see what I can do about integrating that.
A great game in propositional logic! I agree with stinky472 in that the major pitfall that most people have with p.l. is that the English language does not fit very well with the way it works, logically. However, there are certain "clues" or representative examples that help people to understand the asymmetrical nature of such propositions, and how to avoid the fallacy of affirming the antecedent (people understand bi-conditional statements well, but not conditional). For example: If the sun is shining through my window, then I will be able to see in this room. I can see in this room, therefore: (many people here make the mistake claiming the sun is shining, but through this example it is clear when explaining that you could possibly see for another reason, not explained by the sun, and therefore, being able to see says nothing about the sun. However, not being able to see does in fact set the state of the sun into not shining for the argument to be true).
Also, I idled for seven hours and only went from lvl 49 to lvl 50... how is that possible? My double or nothing also reset to a lower level than I had it at (I was at the $163840 level)...
I was under the impression that you can't keep your fish between sessions, but it says nothing about losing burgers! I lost about 450 burgers when I refreshed! AHhhhhh!
Very frustrating to carefully walk through the whole game and then get pwned by the minotaur despite having all the spells and many potions with some awesome equipment.
Great little game. Kept me playing for quite a while. I think there are a few things you could do to improve: 1. Need to allow the player to continue to get Ability points after level 30 so that they can max out the skill tree, OR allow them to reset the skill tree. 2. There's a glitch that prevents you from using a revive feather if you've already used two items in the phantom match. 3. Game speed buttons to speed up the endless dodge-battles. 4. A "consume all" button for the in-training items menu 5. More monster types!
Great game! 5/5
Press ESC to open the options menu, there's an escape button there if the fishing game even freezes.
