It should say that the ball is supposed to bounce, not roll. It's a decent game, but it seems like a lot of people didn't realize it's supposed to bounce despite the physics engine encouraging that
That final song was epic.
Also, ... so far as I could tell golden scarabs are completely useless, so could we get an achieve or something to make them worthwhile?
Noting that it looks like other people were also encountering the issue that I had, I feel I should probably say what the problem was here. It does automatically back up/save your game to the cloud, but it does not automatically pull it as people are typically used to. You need to click the little cloud button in the bottom left then click "download from cloud" then "apply". This *will* take into account offline progress in the factory :)
So... given its tagged as an idle game I'd cranked up my factory, then closed the thing, intending to come back later. Here I am a few days later, but rather than a bunch of resources, I find that the game has been reset with no evidence of progression. Is this just an odd glitch on my end? or was there a local save mechanism I was supposed to use but didn't realize?
Is there a good way to get the gems? It takes ~1k to reforge something which seems completely absurd to me at present as after 5 or 6 resets I only had 600 green and 500 yellow
wonderful game. Honestly, probably the best platformer I've ever seen, the style hits classic arcade perfectly in... well, just about everything. Only thing is that... well, I know there's a storyline, I just don't know what it is. If you could shift it so that the storyline popups are click-through windows that pause the game instead you'll do a *lot* better at giving out the storyline, plus if someone doesn't care about the story, clicking through a window 2 or 3 times a level isn't something they'll really complain about.
Another option that would be pretty deevy is running voice-overs, especially for SAGA, that'd be a fun one to figure out voicing for.
Tips:
* You can jump in mid-air, in fact you sometimes must jump in mid-air
* The sides of spikes don't kill you, only the tips. You can align jumps better by walking against vertical spikes to get as close as possible before a jump
This should be in the top comments! :D Yes, that is how it works.
