I have achieved the answer and all is good in the world.
incredibly well put together game, being able to have buttons to auto feed things would be nicer than drag, though I under stand the allure of either.
Yeah, I'm impressed. I'm not entirely sure what it is. I love dragons, maybe that's it. one of the music pieces is like a different game from my childhood, that might be triggering it. Maybe its just that idea of the benevolent dragon and its pet magi of various humanoid races that it protects. Anyway, loved the game. Thank you for putting this idea from mind to digital.
Why does Targa get XP on Petyan's Tomb? He's off on a different quest at the time. His xp should be based on how much he actually accomplishes, not just extra for doing well on any mission.
Seriously great game though, its one of my 4 mainstay TD games.
@jennlouks
Your "health bar" are the anchors in the top-left of the screen. Anchor pickups are extra lives. Boss health bars show up at the bottom of the screen
2km in 1 run
Also... yup, played this way back in elementary school... senior year of high school and I'm coming back for yet another rerun :) Its just a very well made game.
agreed with kirtil, they are labelled "creature" parts after all. The fire golem really wouldn't fit, but the rest could be spun off as undead fairly easily.
so... the drone modding research seems to only give an additional point every other level now whereas before it would give a point every level. Is this intentional? And if so, why did you choose to do it this way rather than just double the research step? Seems to me that should be just as simple as making it every other level, and more logistically pleasing to players
Could it be made so that you can attack more than one square at a time? Knowing the prestige thing that helps with this... perhaps it would be something you can unlock for ascending to give more of an incentive to do so? It wouldn't necessarily be OP, actually it'd be balanced as is, you fight more at once... fights go faster if you're far enough better than the computer, and they are far harder.
oh! I just realized another way potions could be done, auto-collect as needed, so if you try casting a spell without enough mana it will automatically collect potions as needed
I'm afraid I'm without suggestion for buffing the enemies, though this may be to be expected. All-in-all I loved the game, its well-made save the few grammatical errors.
oh, also, scared enemies getting frozen is annoying... that's probably more of a personal opinion though
Temple of Beholder: Aesthetics for this are amazing, but the time it takes for an eye to seek out an enemy can be annoying, especially with ninjas and other enemies where an instant strike is valuable, perhaps something more akin to teleporting to the target in a streak of fire similar to a blink spell from other games might be nice, though I'm not sure if this would affect any designs on balancing.
Fear: Enemies keep just sitting still and using abilities... such as summoning dendroids, I'd suggest that activated abilities (but not passive such as self-invisibility, flight, love, etc) be disabled while afraid.
A few suggestions (separate posts so that they are able to be voted separately):
Anti-Scroll Hotkey: have a button you can hold down to prevent collecting scrolls, it would allow players to collect coins during a level and also collect potions without worry of activating precious scrolls
@Mayerism - The supposed bug in which battles would cause nothing to occur are likely due to enemy units being heavily shielded without you having effective anti-shield weapons. Try setting up a few ships with rail-guns and check if you still have the problem.
I inserted a "Congratulations" screen as another player had told me. Didn't you see this screen when you finished the game?
