If I could assign a target for my bots, I would be less likely to go mad. :( However, this is a pretty cool old skool game. Hints for others - leave gaps between yr factories, or they'll keep sucking resources & never produce - and you can't sell them. Upgrade bot attack first, then # of bots, then defence - it works out to be MUCH cheaper that way.
As others have mentioned, the AI could be toughened up a bit - I've spent more time on 5 levels of ants vs bees, for example, than I did in finishing the 30 levels here. Still, I finished it, so I was clearly motivated to stick around.
I REALLY, REALLY like the way you've combined some excellent arcade concepts with some upgrades to make this game. Player skill actually impacts on progress! Easily 5/5.
Wow. That was brilliantly executed. All of the differences were larger than one pixel, too - and most were a lot larger - which makes it less frustrating. Well done.
