Nice game, but sometimes the controls don't respond, and I know it's not my laptop because the same keys work in other games. I don't know if I'm just being impatient and there are pauses that I need to take for whatever cinematic moment, but it's kind of annoying.
I like this theme, a gothic teenager version of the "save my loved one" side-scrolling/upgrade shooter genre. You get points for originality on that part. I like the art and the interface and the fact that I can regain fuel on my runs despite running out, which enables me to gain more points and coins in one run, aaaand the fact that the only thing stopping me is not energy or aforementioned fuel or stamina but my health which I can control to my will. While this makes the game easier in a sense, it also makes it more fun and switches it up a little. 4/5
I'm not sure if I'm not understanding correctly but when it comes to auto-targeting with the WASD keys as soon as I target it fades away. Is it because I'm moving, because if so that is not really fair. Ehh this game's lock-on and controls are really weird, it feels like I'm moving a spinning top and trying to rotate it in such a way so that it can get enemies on all sides, putting myself in danger in the process. 3/5
This installment actually kind of highlights the sad fact that there are people out there who become so engrossed in their video games that they will neglect or unintentionally kill their children because they don't want to be disturbed.

My love for badges and achievements (website-wise and in-game wise) is being pitted against my utter hatred/confusion directed towards these kinds of puzzles..well let's see which one triumphs: My impatience or my greed.
You guys continue to amaze me with how in-depth and easy to play this game is. This is a completely wonderful change of pace compared to the last two games, with more customization and a whole different point of view as the player. There is a little bit of premium content but the stuff that's available for everyone is above and beyond what I've come to expect from a dungeon crawler game. This is the epitome of its genre. A well-deserved 5/5.
Fun game. Love the old school pixel style and the straightforward game play. I also like how if I run into something I automatically strafe left or right to move past it instead of dumbly bashing myself into a barrier. From what I can see this game is fairly solid. 5/5
A nice shoot 'em zombie game. I find the automatic reload to be quite annoying as well, really wish I could switch to another weapon when I click reload. I don't care if it cancels it out or what, just having something else to turn to is better than being completely defenseless and panicking as the horde overwhelms you.
It's been awhile since I could play an action game where I manually control my character and slice them up with anything but a mouse (which becomes hard on the wrist after awhile, ha). I do enjoy the music and the graphics, but I agree that the AI needs work. 4/5 from me, though.
