not a bad idea for a classic game. as stated already after a few rebounds, reaction time is gone. seeing that there is a particle effect, i would like to see some color behind this effect.
i have the strength of "tough as nail" and i get Your strength is too low to use this monstrous machine. You try it anyway. An hour later one of the gym staff find you with both your arms stuck in the machine. there is a strength that is higher that is required?!?!?!
man, i can not wait to hit my next level... for those to know what not to pick, orc dark knight can not die (i have a con of 103) and deals damage SO slow... 140 per hit on a target that has 14k...
there is a walk through, but i will answer some of the more common questions. to get around some the train problem, there are 2 ways. 1. press and hold"r" this resets your location and you keep your progress. if you want to skip that area all together, place any other tile above the door when in the cockpit, walk into the empty room, turn around and grab the tile on the right hand side above the door. walk back into the cockpit, place the new tile above the door, and you move into the next stage of the game. please + so everyone can see this and beat this game.
here are a few things i would like to see added to the game. badges: such as beat the game, or max out all upgrades. next would be a better post beating the game area. after collecting all the gifts and getting all the upgrades, what is there left to do? this idea has been posted a few times, and i support it, when starting from the cannon, getting the xmas boost and when going through the mid aid boosters, fuel should not be used. i recommend that a separate button be used to toggle fuel (not linked to the booster button) that way the player has better control over fuel use. coin collection when falling, i like to get those last few coins on the way down, and furthermore if i miss a bonus i wanted, once it is off the screen it is gone, this stands true with collecting coins w/ the magnet and going too fast. this is a solid fun game, just needs a little more to keep players playing and not wandering off into the vast endlessness of the internet. my only complaint is that in the latter levels, when collecting the bits (with the unlimited magnet) sometimes the units that shoot at you, the shot gets lost in the bits. other then that, the game is great.
i played the demo, and i was so compelled by the game, i bought the full version. great story line, which really helps move the game along. the various challenging levels you can play help add depth to the game. good demo and i am sure the full version will live up to or exceed the demos exceptions.
great game, but i did not like that i charged (with much grinding) through the game, to see that the ending was..... well you know, and i was required to go through the entire game in hardcore mode with no training fights just to get the real ending.... overall it was a good game! as far as the armor and weapon changing as you upgrade it i second that idea. variety is the spice of of life and all.
a few notes: indie mode bleeds over after a round is complete. so, if you want to read all of it, just let it go till the round ends. also, on that note, indie mode gets stuck looping the same message "ok, dude you're really creeping me out" i though it would at least loop back to the start. secondly, i was outfitted with the most rockets i could buy, maxed out the rockets to lv 5, and lost to the last boss...
great game, loved all the upgrades, i really loved that premium content!!!! (sarcasm)
