surianca, that'd be because it shoots the same ammo as your main flak does, which makes it the only upgradable turret in the game since it gets stronger as you upgrade your main cannon. Kinda silly, imo.
You probably won't even make past the trash mobs in the final boss' fight if you think the first boss was bull ;p Though I thought the final boss was kinda disappointing.
urmelhelble:
If you can play -50- levels of a game without being the "top-brains elite," I'd consider that pretty playable. Just consider the rest of the levels challenges :p No one really is making you play them.
I got to 76 on survival. Its not really all that difficult. First attempt, though I did clear a dungeon scenario before trying survival.
Did it with warrior, cleric, mage and ranger.
Thing to keep in mind when picking classes and skills are that the buffs tend to be "lasts the remainder of the battle" ... which is the entire thing in survival.
Warrior was sword and shield, adrenaline rush, inspire, cleave, bloodlust.
Cleric was pure support (sold the weapon even, to get another piece of armor) with holy light, purify, resurrect, heal and the group heal.
Mage was Freeze, cosmic prison, thunder, the shield spell and the dmg reflect spell.
Ranger had pierce, arrow shower, poison shot, pin and the regen/poison resist buff.
Arranged warrior in front, other 3 in back, prioritize poison / vampiric gear if available, followed by hp regen. Fully buffed my guys heal a third of their hp bar every turn. :p
The targeting system is fine. Any projectile has traveltime, the auto-target simply doesn't compensate for enemy travel speed. All that means is that you manuver yourself so that the target is moving relatively slower to the front of your gun.
Also known as lining up your guy with the enemy's movement path and just move backwards while shooting.
Or, if you REALLY can't aim with this system, use a missile weapon. They auto-home in, at a slight cost to dps.
Optionally, you could just ignore the leading the target part and just assume your weapon targeting'll always trail behind a horizontally moving enemy. I didn't bother adjusting my path of fire, I just moved myself to an intercept course.
I liked the game overall... half wish there was a survival mode though. The final levels takes less than a minute after you unlock Loki.
