so I kill a giant squid, shark and sea serpent with only my fists, then fall in the water again and simply...drown? Must've tired out after all that giant monster killing.
not sure if I liked not HAVING TO fully upgrade a single penguin or not. I mean it really did cut down on farming/grinding money. Overall, pretty fun. and I like how the 'lore' fits in with the toss the turtle and flying penguin. :)
for the Med. Badge, here's what I did.
Ice land Mage
Attack High 10

Def. High 5
Def. Low 5
Addtional Low Attack 5
Life 120
Mana 190
Basic Damage 4
In a fight I usually open up with the low attack and then soon I just spam the High Attack + Addtional Low Attack, and just use your defense based upon how they attack. Doing this I EASILY beat the mage competition. Just FYI.
I really like this game.....REALLLLLY LIKED IT. Until lvl 16. Once you beat the Pirate Island and get lvl 16 you're forced into paying money to move on. Unless you love grinding sensely.... That really ruined it all for me, it felt pretty wasteful since I'll never beat the game now.
scythecow was right. I took the scientist and firefighter with my grenade launcher to the final fight. The hit % seems a little exaggerated, if anything, but I didn't have to use a single medkit and used the 2nd attack from the launcher from start to finish. 1045dmg done, 62% health lost. Clearly the % rolls must have been on my side to make him miss so much but hey, it worked!
GREAT GAME. I thought I was going to have to drudge thru the cave since I couldn't get to 29 after a few tries. Once I finally made it over that hump WAM, strait to 100 and a total win, with no deaths or escapes. Wowza. I don't think that makes it easy since it really depends on if you go after everything or whiz thru some levels because ur close to dying :D.
mage/paladin, lvl 8, all lvl 3 equipment and I STILL can't beat those jamican frog brothers! I can only fault this game for having nearly impossible situations. I have a balanced team (attack/support) yet if the frogs double cast Boulder Rain, I'm dead from full health. Do I REALLY need to grind out more levels? :\ Other than that, this game is great!
easy achievement guide: play lvl 1, wave 1 2 and 3, but when results for 3 pop up, right click and choose "play". You'll keep all your money but still be on the save level. Just buy the style upgrades when you can, and then save $840 using this method. Once you get that money buy 3 of everything. Now you get 3 tries to do the 7,000 meter achievement as each wave it resupplies your stuff. Aim for about 30 degrees, and as full of power as you can. Right after launch use each soda boost, then just time your skies and freak powers. As long as you get 6500m you'll get the achievement as your style gives you a 500m boost at the end.
