How so, ConnorKenway? Because you dont understand it? Because its difficult? You should have good reasons to say so, and those two reasons are not enough.
A quick guide to what keys to use to survive: First, obviously, if you see a rock, logs or whatever lying on the ground, or spikes, jump (up arrow) at the right time. If you see a branch or a tent, duck (down arrow). If the tent is a longer one, hold the down arrow to duck longer. For farmers (people with the pitchfoks) throw a javelin (space). For hoplites (the soldiers with the shields) jump on them. That is a little difficult at times, since the timing is critical on this. For arrow volleys, block (left arrow key). For arrow volleys from behind (the other direction) duck (down arrow). For duelists (the soldiers that ride against you) block them when they strike. For those other riders (who chase you) sprint (hold the right arrow key) to keep away from them. If they get close, and duck (down arrow key). For the very long ground obstacles generally at the end of a level, listen when she tells one is coming, then sprint (hold the right arrow key) and then jump (hold up arrow key)
@masarap It is highly unlikely that anyone who doesn't enjoy the game at start will change his/her opinion later. In the worst case, they just end up spamming and trolling around the game, causing no good to other players whatsoever. I dont know anyone who loved the game from the start (I didn't neither), but all the active players truly enjoy the game and live their imagination. I never wanted to scare any potential players away, and if they really like the game, im sure they understand that the key in it is imagination.
@masarap I was speaking of non-imaginative players who simply cant play the game. I know some of these people in real life, no matter how hard they try, they just ended up annoying me and the rest of the people in game. Beginners, especially beginners to MUDs in general, are of cuorse just beginners.
Seriously, is Kongregate full of people who cant see anything but a certain body part in this game? I like the game because of the gameplay. Appears im the only one... vote this up to prove me wrong.
