It's not done so you'll spend more donuts...There's literally no point spending donuts on shop refreshes if your items are all already very good for your level. I expect you mostly have epics, and the items you get dropping are mostly commons. Naturally, epics are rarer and thus are better in stats, so of course a common will be far worse than your current items. It's not something to complain about. It means you've got good gear for your level. Of the many features in this game designed to encourage you to spend donuts, that is not one of them.
You can sell minus items or use them to change your build to do better at PVP/PVE. I'm not seeing the problem. There's only one instance where I think items should always be + items and that's for special mission bosses that are higher in level than yourself. Mike - there's no schedule, I'm just psychic.
No, it's because an item's stats are based on your level. Items work like that in A LOT of games. If you want better items, level up several times and then refresh the shop. Items are so abundant anyway that imo there is no point refreshing the shop with donuts at all.
Very addictive, some design flaws. 1. Main font is hard to read, especially in chat box. More legible font = more accessible to many. Also,no underscore character. 2. Chat box settings unsatisfactory. Would be nice to see it on demand by hovering over an icon, +ability to scroll up/down. 3. Ridiculous number of accessories but can only use 1 at a time. Why? Would be helpful to sort them by what skills they give. Also option to sell/trade unwanted accessories. 4. Shop is confusing, difficult to navigate. Would be nice to see what an item does by hovering over it instead of clicking. Also to not always take you back to 1st shop page but remember where you were. 5. Have to leave the room you're in to toggle most settings. Especially, can't toggle SFX and BGM separately without leaving. 6. Volume slider for SFX/BGM, please! Otherwise, I really like this game and look forward to future updates, and I am really impressed with how much you interact with the players, Fex.
The final boss is on level 21. Make sure to stock up on potions before that just in case, though there are four crystals in the final level which drop health/mana/stat buff potions. I agree with others that the movement speed at the start is too slow. I invested many points in speed just so walking around the levels would be less tedious. A proper ranged weapon and ability to sacrifice unwanted spells and potions would also be good.
A donut to stat points converter?! Sure, I've always wanted to be beaten by a level 1 who's willing to pour all his money into buying donuts in order to be stronger than everyone else on the server! Games where you pay to win are THE BEST.
Challenge Tips - KINGPIN: slow it down a bit by running the game on high quality & enlarging game (ctrl + mouse scroll button). ANGRY NERD: restart if the platforms are all at similar heights; learn the angles needed (just above the upper black cracked line will usually get you to last platform). BURRITO GEEK: Meteor strikes, but it's mostly luck & practice. LEARNING TO GLIDE: repeatedly use meteor strike whenever you begin rising into the upper third of the altitude bar to avoid going into clouds. You will probably need to grind to get the + hit token regen. May help to unequip items with rebound master bonuses. XTREME STUNTMAN: you need speed to hit as many creeps as possible. Use a meteor strike immediately after launching, then a hellraiser BEFORE you hit the ground, then another meteor strike. May help to have lots of creep magnet bonuses.
Cool, will look into all of that! (Especially the volume sliders) Thanks for checking it out! [-fex]
