*Everything* the hero says is funny just because of how the VA delivers the lines.
"HEY I think that one must have been the RIGHT DOOR! :D"
And god that flying thing is creepy as hell. It'd be one thing if he chased after you, but instead he just slowly drifts toward you holding that fork...
I think this is a pretty polished MMO flash game, especially compared to that Dream World game. I honestly have no idea why people like that game so much.
I have to say, I've played a total of 3 different MMO-ish type games on Kongregate, (the other two being Sacred Seasons and Dream World) and this game takes the cake compared to those two.
This game needs to have an option to replay the whole battle in a continuous animation at the end. Some of the maneuvers and crap you do in the game looks pretty badass, and I really want to see how it looks in real time.
This game seems pretty easy, and the hard badge was more time-consuming than anything. I'm sure anyone who has decent typing skills wouldn't have too much trouble.
That said, I had fun.
One thing I think the developer should learn is that more polygons in a level != harder level. I had way more trouble on some of the earlier Insane levels than on the last few.
I don't remember for sure, but I think I managed to destroy every single polygon in the last level on my first try because the population was so dense. Or at the very least, I got a gold on the first try.
I love how the joke flies way over some of these people's heads. "Wtf, I beat this game in like under a minute. omfg"
Also "isnt the grinning collosus in death vs. monsters also?"
Death vs. Monsters was making a reference to this game, actually.
"the chainsaw is a waste of money, tons of ammo per second and extremely short range, the minigun is the best."
But it kills stuff way faster than the minigun. That's what it's good for.
Anyway, the game won't give me the hard badge, even though I even have the damn check mark in the "clive defeated" box. Ah well. :/
BrownKid, I'm pretty sure the name you're looking for is Orpheus, and the girl is Persephone.
The difference was, Persephone didn't disintegrate or anything like that. It just mean Orpheus lost his one chance to bring her back to life.
I haven't played the last stage yet, but I have to say, the second to last boss wasn't very hard at all. Time-consuming, but not hard. He didn't even within range of my tower's arrows before dying.
