Player would need to have 1 second of pause at start of game with map shows, and location of home planets visually indicated. Too many games now start with "where am I? oops too late to move"
Like in original, I hate having to spam clear forests for cash on each map, instead of concentrating on strategy. Please remove that aspect of ther game in the next version; clearing forests for tower placement is fine and good, but not the farming.
Very good game, but at the same time boring. At the end I'm sitting with hundreds of thousands of cash, and left wondering when the game ends. You've gotta tweak the slope, and let the player know where he/she stands.
This game has huge connectivity issues. Unable to establish connection. Reason unknown. Connection lost. You didn't return on time, so your troops were pulled out of battle...
I absolutely HATE the click-spamming on towers to keep them free, especially on the boss level Rift of Cinders. This feature is completely out of space in an otherwise great 5/5 strategy game.
I've heard of brown sugar, but orange sugar?
Anyways, great game. This is what I call good casual entertainment. Fun to fiddle with without being penalized for getting it exactly right.
Bug: After game over, if I move focus to another window and back to game window, none of the buttons in game window work. ie. I cannot click 'Restart', 'Main menu' or 'Quit' buttons. Only top right music mute button and top right visit gamepirates buttons work.
It's hard scanning before every match for the elemental Strength & Weakness plus flying/not information from the little square icons. This slower more complicated process takes away from the fun of the earlier series of this game.
I'll also note that the Alchemist basic unit feels like cheating and too powerful: it has the same strong stats like a 1 range melee unit, but can attach also flyers.
Heh, one of my guys just went on strike while recovering from injuries at hospital: "I'm not going to work on recovering from injury today, and maybe not tomorrow either, until I get some good amenities around here."
Played this through a 2nd time after badges. Again a little too easy: early levels still give too many resources in comparison to harder levels; there is no need to build mines for the measly per turn addition. 1st upgrade levels enough to beat the last levels with fast forward.
