Now that I have played more into the game, I gotta say it is amazing. I am liking the upgrade grid system instead of the usual upgrade for random buffs. Also, the humor of each spot is amazing. Also, an amazing difficulty curve. If I have any complaints, it is that it can't go on forever.
Good game, but it it does need an improvment on the difficulty curve. It seems instead of getting steeper it actually start to go flat (where most games are it gets extremely tough toward the end). Also, you expect me to find lots of artifacts, yet I really only find 1 every 10 floors after the first 2. Far to few if you ask me.
I like this game, but like almost everyone says, you can't really pay attention to what your breeding because you are to busy getting enough units to survive. Maybe instead of random evolution, you have an evolution skill tree? So you can keep the army you want between levels (even just starting with just one however) and you can still keep the temporary power up panels (flight, armor, etc.)
Good game, but were it is weak it is REALLY weak. Examples are:
Quickly repeating music, it gets annoying quickly
Being symetrical with no extra purpose. This makes things tedious because you got to solve the same puzzle twice
Maybe a walkthrough for really tough levels? Or even a couple of skips per game.
Good game. Like the music, gameplay, everything about it.....
BUT the advertisement inside as a hint and the fact you can't just see both endings if you got the good one.
Flood + Fish + Ice (in that order) = APPOCALYPSE TO THE FISH >:D
Soil + Ants + Lava = Pillar
Anything + Virus = Death
Lava + Water = Steam
Fish + Plants = Where did the plants go?
The one who knew about what was going on tried to warn everyone to leave. Yet nobody did. The irony here is that he did nothing to keep himself safe. Didn't try attacking the slug, didn't try making weapons. Nothing.
Nice. I like the extra challenge of getting the extra teddy per level to see if you are really good at this game. Didn't think a Puzzle Platformer could be this simple and complex at once. Give yourself 9001 (yes we all know thats OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!) pats on the back.
First of all when I started, reading the description it sounded alot like Terminator.
Then it became a real good game.
A fun game. Just a little too steep of a difficulty curve in my mind. You start off with 3 bases, basic enemies, then BAM a couple levels later you are facing 15 bases and enemies that are extremely tough to kill. I love a good challenge, as long as it is reasonable. This needs a more smooth difficulty curve.
