After looking at the comments, I have no idea how I killed the final boss on my second try, not even fully upgraded. Just luck of the draw I guess! Fun game though, 5/5.
First try with level 25, I don't understand the hate. Just know how brickbreaking games work and how paddles react, and just focus on hitting it close to the middle each time to stop it getting out of control.
As many others have said, it gets far far faar too laggy in survival, makes getting to 20k take absolutely bloody ages. Please include something to remove gems/coins.
Being able to buy training items really takes a lot of the grinding out of this game, I appreciate that! Overall not a bad game, if these glitches are still present (I haven't experienced any yet, TOUCH WOOD!) then once those are sorted it'd be much better received overall.
If anyone's looking to max out the bombs/initial money upgrades, I realised that if you save (for example) 2,000 points for the highest upgrade, you can buy it straight away without having to pay for each of the others. Long term will save you loads of money (Since just 2000, not 500+1000+1500 etc.) + so people can see. :)
Almost overlooked this game, but was drawn in by the design. What a fantastic game, kept me busy for several hours! All the changes you've made in response to the comments have greatly improved it! 5/5 no question.
The fact there are different "Difficulties" on a game supposedly based on luck suggests to me it's not about luck and that it's designed to piss me off.
