On Battle Without End, I’m not sure what you mean by learn new skills. The primary skills are available to you at the begining. You have to select the Combat and Magic skills you want to use. show moreOn Battle Without End, I’m not sure what you mean by learn new skills. The primary skills are available to you at the begining. You have to select the Combat and Magic skills you want to use. For example, want to do Smash and Firebolt? You need to have the selected (orange). Passives are always active. You’ll notice that some skills only work with certain weapon types. For example, you can’t use the Mirage Bolt unless you have a ranged weapon, and counter only works with melee weapons. It seems there are some other skills, like Fireball, but they only unlock when you rank certain other skills to Level 1 (which is taking me forever). Firebolt level 1 for Fireball, Icebolt for icespear, etc.
