I can offer an explanation as to why Odin has no weaponry, and takes nothing with it. Odin is actually a living breathing ship, self aware, DNA processing and and made of a hybrid living metal. The reason for this is that the rift can only transport living material; guns, storage ect would just disintegrate on entering the rift. As the ship was made at the height of humanity's existence these techniques are no longer available, the ship has enough to deal with keeping it's self and it's inhabitants alive.
It took to the bonus level to learn a new thrick though, throttling weapons packets a few times a second to get your builds faster and reduce deficit (or lag:), the level still took me 40 minutes. ~IMO it should have been a medium bage, and there should be a hard one for the bonus level (if you want to make it imposible i haven't got one yet! :s! Great game 5/5
CHALLENGES!!!! Dirty hotel, clean it, broken machines, fix them. Also you could have guests with favourite places, money, ATM's, Maybe think about an outside area, put items in rooms, the room for expansion is immense!
Upgrades for all types of room and staff would be my suggestion, also might want to throw in random events like school trip, football match and the like. Also being able to set a planned route for the maids and engineers would be a great add on
It's the last 2 challenges that have me right now, can't seem to get enough power without smog, i might try some science this turn, then i might give this one a rest.
I think a time trial mode would be interesting, or a set number of grains for bigger cup sizes. An eraser would be handy as well, btu i suppose that's part of what makes the game hard, well after SS1 this was quite easy to complete TBH. I think someone mentioned a fast forward button, you could always add annoying children that try to eat your sugar, but that might be going too.
A great game apart from some small bugs, like freezing when exiting a stage. A storyline could be good, and some of the fratures like zoom, and a way to move booths once they are placed as well... my guide to the relationships of booths is below... sorry it's so hard to read, kon don't like white spaces in the comments! The word before the = sign is the booth in question, they are in the order they are in the game.
In this game all the booths can have a positive, negative or neutral effect on each other. Below is a complete list of all the positive effects. Where there is a – no [name] there is a negative effect.
