Only one death. Damn What does it take to get a rank S? I almost had the time, but I wasted time at one point in the game. That hurt me on time plus me losing one life.
The only thing I want to ask for is in the configure options the option to change the shift key for the minimal jumps to another key on the keyboard.
Anyway, great job it's a grand success in my book and I look forward to the next one.
Very good game. I love it even though it likes to drive me insane with the gold relics after the second purple checkpoint. It be less aggravating getting them if it saved the fact you got it instead of having to go back and reget it.
Anyway a few minor... bugs I guess you could call it. They aren't so much bugs, but whenever I restarted from the purple checkpoint and moved directly right the camera retains focus to the left and only refocuses on you if you left to where the camera has it's focus at. Second problem is in area 1_21, if you go to the secret area that holds the fourth gold item from the fourth hole from the top you hit a dead end. Well, when you move back to the right the camera area is focused way above you and you can only see your head and nothing below you.
This game seems to surround an old Greek myth of a man who went into Hades to get back his beloved's soul. Hades made a deal with him that if he leaves Hades without looking back his beloved would be returned to life. The man traveled all the way out and could hear his loves breath behind him. However, just as he was nearly out of Hades he looked back and saw his loves soul, but then she vanished when he looked back. That's what I believe the guy's inspiration is.
Got to 20000 points without taking a hit. Something I'm wondering is if after you take a hit if the counter resets and if you avoid taking another hit after earning another 30000 if you will get the badge. Get what I'm asking?
