To get hard badge you need to find and kill boss in Den area.

Like for me best card is Shadow Vampire, i had 4 of them+ 2x archangel guardians and no problems with beast

I made 545 points in Storm Before the Calm. So you can try this stage also

If you have problems with getting hard badge try to use shark gun. It works the best like for me
