I gotta say I'm impressed. Once this gets to the appropriate stake of development, this will easily be in league with slay the spire, and FTL.
I really enjoy how much it feels like as much as the deck generates randomness, you feel responsible for it, you know they had 2 hidden cards, that you even could have used resources to see, so when you see the results you know that you had every opportunity to respond to it. I love how the extra resources make for a level of depth that I could some distance before I needed to understand them, making for an incredibly adaptable learning curve. I love the whole balancing act of how there are so many mechanics you can keep track of to do better, but also ignore able. I can either keep track of my food, eating at a very controlled moment, or managing the resource with precision, or I can just make sure I don't run out.
This is excellent as is, so I’m excited to play it more, and see what new is added, not to mention the depth I haven't reached yet
it felt like i was holding a puzzle box just confertably figiting with all the different surfices until it opens. very fun. i think its a very complete just how it is.
i abslutly love the use of basicly furmiler, but very quickly ramping up the difficulty high enoph that player understand how they are failing but simply cant reach it. it breaks players power trip thinking as is presant in many other games and turns it against itself serving a way for the player to empathise with the main charictors as 2 peaple who are try at something that is hard for them. giving a nice pairing of internal strugle that is pressant in many everyday expiriances with a light optomisom about people being willing to give people chances despite some level of failer. i realy enjoyed this and will likely play this game every so often just to feel the emocional precance of this story.
