Oh if you want to deselect you have to click on da path. And for the towers disappearing bug, I've never experienced it so i can't tell what's wrong :S
I can't change the presentation until i buy a digital tablet (you know, for drawing by hand on the computer) but i'll get the UI fixed and update the game this weekend.
I'm gonna resize the gaming area and consider changing the font's colour, while on the scaling i'll work on it but i can't assure you how much better it will look like after that (or how much worse)

@Drizzt45: It's just a matter of perspective, at first the shadows looked like they put the terrain up, but i convinced myself otherwise, and yeah i'm working on the contrast
