You should never have to look at Red or Purple since they are very simple - there's only one obstacle at any given time in them. For the others however, there's multiple obstacles and you have to choose how to avoid them and in what order. Here's my opinion on the order of importance of which you minigame you should be looking at the most (you should still be aware of all of them, of course): Blue (shortest reaction time late-game) > Pink (difficult precision late-game) > Green (route planning late-game) > Yellow (non-stop action late-game) >>> Red = Purple (you don't need to look at these two to still be able to avoid losing in them).
So, fellow regulars, in what order would you rank the games in terms of most to least cause of loss? For me: Yellow = Purple > Blue > Pink > Red > Green. Having a Red or Pink however makes the others a lot harder since they require a lot of fine tuned attention, so they might be higher on the cause of loss, indirectly.
All of a sudden, I cannot hire Trimps to do jobs, even if I have empty slots and some buildings' creation cost and equipment upgrade costs went up to a ridiculously high amount.
You can do that! Look at the bottom of the main menu, there's a menu that you can open up from there, where you can choose between 4 kana typefaces and 2 romaji typefaces!
Thanks a lot! This got me re-motivated to revise my Hiragana and Katakana! Might even start learning Japanese again. I finished the first book of the "Japanese From Zero!" series and a bit of the 2nd but stopped quite a while ago.
Here is a small idea: remove the arrow keys / WASD switch in options. Have them both work at the same time. Sometimes I feel like I want to rest my left hand and use the arrow keys instead of WASD for a little bit, then after a while I want to use WASD again. It's annoying having to go to the options each time I want to make the switch.
Awesome game, well done. I agree with the comments, the newspaper part was the hardest as that was the first puzzle where you needed to think outside the box. :P
I really enjoyed playing through this. Although it did get a bit grindy near the end where I was unkillable due to Life Leech. Is it just me or is the Total Enemies Killed scoreboard bugged? It seems to get capped out at 342. It puts the most recent achievers on the top so for now I seem to be #1 All-Time for Total Enemies Killed! ;D
Level 35 has a glass containing acid in the top left corner right behind the Walkthrough button. I only found it by chance and was otherwise stuck on the "2 shots only" mission. + this if you had the same problem and want to help others.
Amazing pictures! Well done on the level design, it kept it quite interesting. There are two I did not like however: 1. The one with the constantly rotating circles... One of them had such an annoyingly small "snap-in" size. 2. The randomly changing ones upon click. I suggest you increase the "snap-in" size for 1 and remove the randomness from 2! Otherwise, very nice!
I absolutely loved the Warcraft 3 unit sounds, especially the Trolls. "It's not easy being blue." Lol. Also the combination of a tower defense with a micro-management intensive game is epic in my opinion. A few small things I would really like to see are: 1) Building hotkeys that can be assigned by the player (maybe 1-9). For example set some arbitrary building to 1 (using Ctrl-1 for instance) so whenever I press 1, that building is selected. This because the map can get pretty crowded sometimes. ;P 2) Hero spell hotkeys would really help! Awesome game! 5/5.
I think if we actually start playing this again, us the players, then it will be more likely for Kongregate to
care for its baby.
Let's revive this masterpiece!
Awesome game! However, as mentioned earlier, a save feature would be a great addition.. Went afk at lvl 9, came back to see Flash has crashed. Refreshed the page, pressed continue and it put me in to lvl 1. ;(
