At first I found the voice acting grating, but I got more used to it as I went through it. The hit detection windows for some items were kinda small so it was easy to dismiss items working in some places when infact that's where they were supposed to be used. 4/5.
It's good... kinda. Although there are different objectives, every level is the same. Not really much strategy to it. Camera is irritating also, bouncing back and forth for each armor/weapon drop. 4/5... just.
I like the idea of the color slowly appearing the faster you go. And it does seem to have a slight element of skill to it, with the randomness of platforms not being too random. Not bad. 3/5.
That ad in the middle of the game really sucks. There's a lot better ways of advertising the sponsor ingame (if you must), but that method ain't gonna do you any favors, it will just get you and your sponsor negative feedback.
It's been a year to the day that Mutant Uprising was released so here's a little announcement :o Mutant Uprising 2 is currently being written and should be out at the end of january/early february barring any problems!
It annoying to see a dev getting rewarded for just re-releasing the SAME game with new graphics and just days apart. Both got featured on the front page with good ratings and it seems barely anyone is noticing... This is an exact copy and re-release of Turbo Santa with a few graphics changed to make it seem like a new game.
Why in the hell do the lift boosters require you to hold down the jump key to get high enough... how is anyone meant to deduce that without help from other players who somehow figured that out. It's not like holding down Jump makes you jump any higher normally... I was stuck on a lift booster for ages thinking I had something else I had to find. BIG fail. This game is more annoying than fun.
Is it me being blind, but it doesn't seem like this game has saves or an autosave? Which means you have to play it all in one go if you want to play all the songs. Isn't that a bit stupid? There's no continue button, so if you go back to the menu you have no choice but to do new game. wtf? Doesn't make any sense...
