After about 100,000 points the game basically stops having a difficulty curve. Solid game, amusing song, and bonus points for multiple Monty Python references.
Tooooooo loooooonng. Add more content. By the end of mission 4 or 5 I was doing the exact same things I'm still doing in the last level - same classes, same heroes available, the ability to make more armies than are in any way necessary, and fighting the same stuff over and over. Make the game shorter or add more upgrades/unit types.
Solid base, needs expansion. While I never found it necessary, it would be really easy to just sit and accumulate resources and research. Not that there's a terribly large number of units to research. When units upgrade during battle there needs to be a choice, not an automatic thing. There needs to be a "heal party" button, instead of having to drag units individually. More hero varieties would be nice. The defensive clerics are basically useless. Good start, needs tweaking.
Also, I have an odd bug, where the window with the "explore" button on it is always sitting half off the side of my screen when I'm dungeoning. I can click it and enter a random dungeon without leaving where I am.
A second song would be nice. Particularly during dungeon delving. That one laid-back piano loop gets pretty dull. Also, perhaps an explanation of what practical applications buildings have when you mouse over them.
You've got tons of proper nouns in there, but there is a fairly high degree of randomness as to whether a particular proper noun will be acceptable. There are also a number of words that aren't included. Decent game overall, there are just a lot of annoying oversights.
