The concept was rather overused, and the mechanics vexing. Scrolling is difficult due to simple errors, which could be easily fixed. The product matches your goal, however, and for that I give kudos.
This is not the best variation of Crimson Room I have seen... While the original was interesting stylistically, this took it in a rather generic direction. The mechanics are straying more from that of Crimson Room's, which is a nice change.
While I love Karoshi 2, I wouldn't muck around with this flash version. This is great, all things considering, however nothing can compare to the second half of Karoshi 2. While the puzzles are tricky, they're not fantastic.
Rather buggy, even for a game in this medium. While the hitTest is alright, (I would assume this is what you used, given that this is art based), though not perfect. The drawing is what contains the most flaws, and can "time-out" at certain points. As for style, kudos! Flaws aside I enjoyed this thoroughly!
Relatively overused concept, as well as easily abused glitches make this a rather dull game. I do, however enjoy the difficulty that is often presented.
Very interesting game! Definitely one that should be played all the way through. Both the concept and the almost poetic text make this game stand out against the large amount of games to use similar mechanics.
Despite a valiant effort on the part of the creator, I found most aspects somewhat lacking... The artwork, while potentially great, lacks form. The controls are a bit buggy, but this is made up for. I do however enjoy the underlying message to support the independant game industry.
I dare say your hitTest seems a bit foggy, as well as some other major issues involving the shift key, (some people have what's called StickyKeys.)
I'm personally fond of the Z key (Key.90).
It is a good effort, however.
Even for a programmer this is tough! 173 commands! Great game, really "puts the fun back in function"! I really like how you urged others to program too!
I remember this motif from the menu!
It has been a while.
I remember thinking that that brutes horns looked rather displaced as far as specular goes. Minor textural issues aside, good modeling.
