I liked the first one, but I love this one. Extremely well-done, already beat it twice and now onto my third play through. I have a life... sometimes. Regardless, one of the best flash games I've played in a very long time.
Great game, but needs improvement. It's always dark, and very difficult to see. Make a flashlight a gear item so that you can actually see the screen if you choose, and make the higher levels of the flashlight shed more light than the lower levels. Either that, or just make the dark less dark. Instead of having it at a filter of around 50% black, have it around 30%. There's a difference between showing the player that it is night time, and causing them to be blind unless their face is almost touching the screen.
It would be interesting if there were more options for the school than just math. Like maybe basic history (like what year did Columbus discover America? A: 1492) Or basic English (In this sentence what form is the word "type". "I am typing this comment." A: Verb.) And so on, maybe even some basic pop culture references, and so on. I just think it would be kinda cool to see. Plus this so the developer can see?
At first I was kind of disappointed with the change in theme, but then I grew to like it. After a while it does get repetitive though. The last ones I could play over and over; this one I'm bored with before it even ends.
I'm going to say the same thing as everyone else, original concept but not done as well as it could have. You only need to collect 3 out of the 4 types of items so why bother with range since it is the hardest to get? Would definitely like to see some sort of turn based system in here for the battles, or at least some more variety in the gameplay.
As soon as I saw this I knew what it was going to be, a crummy game that beats up JB but because of that has high reviews. Very boring and repetitive, nothing original, and upgrades lack fun. Definitely not fun. 2/5
Not a fan, too pixelated, not enough direction as to what back is and if there is anything else that you can click on to move, shooting is flat out lame, etc. 2 for artwork
