Hello, thx for your help with the code. But I am sorry, that was the exact (well similar) code I’ve been using for the game. I found the bug, I nested the MovieClips too deeply, confusing Flash. Therefore I reprogrammed the game to access the root MovieClip.
I like your idea of lives, but my colleague insists “NO!”.
