I'm a little confused about what the "Healing" stat does. Does that mean when a minion uses a healing skill it is more effective, or that a minion under the influence of a healing skill gets more benefit from it, or something else entirely?
Rasstis, you say: "I am also a little tired of folks rating down every damn comment that is somewhat negative when it is a valid point. ", but every single one of the top 5 comments has negative things to say about the title. So....
Been having some trouble with the game lately-- played for a few days with no difficulty, now it loads to the Ninja Kiwi dev screen, followed by a black screen. Anyone know what's up, or what I can do about it?
@DracoZero Disintegrate works when the target has 30% or less of its health left. 30% of 153 is 45.9 and 30% of 120 is 36. Therefore, in both cases you cite, the skill is functioning correctly.
There's a lot to like about this game, but the balance is way off. In particular: poison traps and boomerang towers are ridiculously overpowered-- once you can build both, it's never necessary to build anything else. Hell, it's hardly ever even necessary to build the boomerang towers. Fix the balance, have fewer but longer levels, and maybe add one or two more tower types, and it'd be a 5/5. As it stands now, 3/5.
Love the AI voice, and being able to make it say whatever I want with the "Public Address". The variety among yr enemies is impressive, and gameplay's kinda fun at first, but I found it too easy and eventually downright boring. Hacking all the computers in ~a minute and then locking doors, ringing phones and turning off lights for like 50+ cycles to accumulate $s for more upgrades I don't need and'll never use isn't fun-- ended up feeling more like a poltergeist than a rogue AI.
Since there's a running counter of how many violent vs. pacifist victories you have I got the impression there might be alternate endings depending on the "alignment" of your AI, and was disappointed to find otherwise.
It might be cool-- and help with the difficulty-- if after unlocking all the upgrades there was a final, harder, level that introduced a new element (maybe a rival AI designed to stop you)?
Overall, 4/5-- a lot of fun, well-executed elements that just don't add up to a great game, for me.
Suggestion for an addition that'd make it a bit harder: what if you couldn't kill even the level one monsters until you found the one square that was a sword?
Hm, while loading the fight with Westone, I get the error message: "It appears that your loading progress has stopped. Click below to try loading again." I click below and the same thing happens.
