Saw this game got badged, went here to see if it has the same problems as the first one, and almost every single comment is about lags and glitches. That's just next level of bad.
Instead of dodging the laser, you can go behind Tom and hit him a few times he the slight backfire from his laser doesn't hit you. Then you just bash him. About 10 combo per one laser - great boost.
Game seems too repetitive for me. Maybe it's only the fire mages, but after you get most of the upgrades, you still have a lot to do and fights become spamming higher and lower bolts until you have enough power to use one "big bolt". This combination gives you 100% wins and game becomes very boring click-through action.
