Btw - you also want to explode with the x3 bonus, so there's another boring wait. Would be better if box bonuses were active skills with cooldown and instead boxes gave an amount of gold based on your current idle och click gain.
Having to sit and wait staring at the screen waiting for a box of x3 idle gold before you buy the Power Miner skills is really too boring. Would be better if Power Miner wasn't dependent on current value. Also wouldn't force you to wait until the very end of a run to buy them. Basically you buy them right before Explode anyway. So they just become the final boost and you may have to stare at the screen for a long boring time before you get the best value out of it.
This is the best game published on Kong for a long time imo. Deserves a much higher rating than the current 3.3. Clean and nicely done, fun play that forces you to think a bit about what skills to use, how and when.
Stupid "spam mouse" system to charge towers. Stupid economy where resources are carried over so each fail of a level forces you to grind earlier levels because next try you have less resources. No speedup button despite being painfully slow at times.
@zipas Ah. Thanks. Nice to know it's never a certain amount of a certain building nor a defeating a certain size of a previously defeated enemy. This makes it much easier to know what to go for.
It's an interesting game, but I find it very confusing to proceed with each race. What you have to do to unlock new buildings. I get stuck a lot and it's annoying not knowing how to move on.
Game isn't really worth 5/5 but it's good enough and not idle so I feel forced to rate it 5 to encourage more production of real games. That's what the recent trend has done.
It's a strange game mechanic when upgrading and finishing levels quickr makes it more difficult to get a 3 stra rating... very odd... quite annoying...
sometimes upgrading a tower costs x2 and there's a little pink(ish?) arrow next to it - so far for me i have not been able to figure when this happens or what effect it has, it would be nice to know....
I don't like the upgrade system at all. Prefer the static upgrades (damage, speed etc) from the first. It really is quite a mess mousing over all the items in you shop, inventory, equipped and try to plan how to spend your money and what to equip to give you the best combination.
i think there should be bonus money or some reward for completing levels using few balls... inkies... whateverthey're called... the blur thing... you drop....
No mouse! Great - love a game I can play with only one hand on they keyboard - gives a nice break from all the carpal tunnel syndrome inducing games done today. I can let my right hand rest and still sit in front of the computer and play games all day long if I wish.
Thank you very much!
