Forgot to note that aside from that issue- and the lack of a retreat option, which would make things much less aggravating in parts- the game is absolutely outstanding and I gave it 5/5.
The only issue I have with it is that you can't replay missions for more exp. I would've really liked to have been able to afford more than one high-level upgrade, but it was difficult or impossible since I also wanted to make sure that my units didn't suck by getting the low-level ones.
Two words: Upgrade system.
Would make this a far better game if you could increase movement speed and swing speed/width, or at least reduce the swing recovery time.
That first guy probably would've just lost his arm. If I recall, most limbs that got minie balls in them were usually amputated.
See if you can figure out who went to Gettysburg every year until he was 17. :P
5/5, though. Even better than the first DC, which was amazing.
