I can just imagine the scene... 262 thousand trimps' march out to battle, carrying maces, battleaxes and great swords while wearing full plate armour... they approach the hostile penguimp with trepidation, the approaching battle will result in many casualties but they do it for their master... the penguimp notices the trimps and turns to fight, in one swift strike, a third of the trimps fall, the rest start piling on he beast smashing and chopping with their outdated weapons... soon the battle is over, the penguimp rises tall over the battlefield with but a few scratches to show for all the trimps' effort, the beast raises its gaze, only to see another army looming over the hill...
It's hard to get a perfect medal when my game keeps doing this thing where the song keeps going but the visuals will stop and key presses are ignored for about 1 second in every 20. It means I can't even perfect the first song, only gold :(. It's like having a conversation where your friend finishes sentences with the a random word that doesn't fit with the topic, its only just not perfect, but its enough to get annoying. Welp, my rant is over now, you can continue your life.
I like this game from the start, don't get me wrong, the art style alone got me hooked, but to get the most out of the attacking system at later levels requires a lot of accurate clicking in a short time then waiting for the next attack to come around. More than once I have lost a battle because I couldn't get all my attacks off on different targets (which is necessary when it comes to strengths and weaknesses) in the space before the enemies attacked.
I would prefer an attacking system where simply the game pauses when it is time for each of the knights to attack allowing for a more strategic battle.
I hope that makes sense, it would be a big change but it would make this game so much more enjoyable for me.
Your stock-standard launcher game with very little new over other launcher games. Limited upgrades (8) with only 4 of them being particularly useful. Lacks engagement, I don't feel like I am needed to get this cat where it wants to go. Try making the bounce more consistent and make it actually help rather than hinder when the cat gets big.
now that the timer is correct to seconds rather than vague times to completion, does it take into account all the levels of growth or just the rate of production from the level above
It accounts for all levels of growth. Getting better estimates working is why this took so long, actually - if the game displayed "exact" times that were wrong or kept changing, I knew I'd get a bunch of bug reports.
There is an odd scaling on speed vs damage on the workers. Speed upgrades cost a lot more yet they will often only increase my dps buy like 10% where as damage upgrades are super cheap and will often double my dps. Also, what do I do with my unused minerals, I have been sitting of 5 noobtarium since I upgraded to a level 10 anvil.
I have a question, is there any limit to the damage that one tower can do because i got a tower up to 9,600 damage and it costs 1,900,000 money to upgrade it again. There is a limit to the range and fire rate but i haven't yet found a limit to the damage.
