Mar 3, 2010 3:35pm I’d say “Profits over People”. If you intrested in anarchism (im anarcho-syndicalist, to be exact, but I don’t consider anarcho-capitalism, or christian anarchy to be anarchism because they contradict the ideals of anarchy, so I just say im an anarchist) I recommend Chomsky on Anarchism. Dec 25, 2009 9:55am Yea, or if they are going to keep it, then maybe have it minimized instead, so people can see it if they want to. I think thats the best, so people can actually check if the mods are doing their job, cause lately the mods are going crazy, like bees with rabies.

Dec 6, 2009 4:02pm I was looking round the forums, and I caught your response to the perfect government thread. I have to say, I found your views on education very intriguing. Jun 14, 2009 10:20am Well I don’t see it as much as some secret conspiracy as just legal loopholes, like not televising third parties “because they are not popular” (but they’re not popular because they are not being televised -catch22) but did you know that 95% of the worlds media is owned by six large corporations? Who controls the past, controls the future. Jun 14, 2009 12:24am I say the same for you as well :D Regarding the whole liberal thing, its just a play on words. Although they are more left, it is by so little that at times they intersect with conservatives on issues. Chomsky once said that we only have one party, the business party, and that cannot be more true. We went from a monarchy to a republic, but the kings and princes just became wealthy landowners with the transfer in power, and really those that were in power remained in power through capital. It’s only a lot worse now when the masses think they have control over the system when really the elections take place behind closed doors in a corporate office. show less

Jun 13, 2009 11:31pm Aw, its fine, I find myself wanting a team to win sometimes too, I always find I am rooting for the “underdog”. Oh and you said you have an “overly idealist philosophy”, well that is nonsense. “Idealists foolish enough to throw caution to the winds have advanced mankind and have enriched the world.” – Emma Goldman

Jun 13, 2009 5:17pm awesome, im not a big sports enthusiast, i enjoy playing them but watching is boring, and to watch all those “hardcore fans” it feels like a microcosm of the world today, with nationalism and all and people starting fights because you have the others teams shirt on. Its dumb :D

Jul 29, 2008 7:55pm Hey, did my iterative search solution help at all with your integer problem? Please give me some feedback – I was having fun with it, and would love to continue to help if that isn’t what you’re looking for.

Jul 28, 2008 11:06pm In response to your ‘solutions of integral x in sqrt(2x ^2 +2x)’ problem. Have you attempted to run this through programs like Mathematica or Maple and such? If not I have some higher complexity math programs buried away somewhere and if you would like I can probably install them and see what they spit out. |
