Thank you x 1000000. Algorithm based upgrade systems are the best, and unfortunately, the rarest. Good gameplay, cute graphics, excellent controls, and (nearly) infinite levels of everything make this a 5/5 game, plus 10 wonderpoints for limitless levelling.
Should add a second skill tree, call it specializations, requiring the related skill to be maxed, that lowers the cool down time of the related skill by a percentage per point. I realize that technically gets away from the inspiration, but upwards and onwards, right? 5/5 game though, for sure.
Its a start. Needs some stats, mebbe some items. The volume button blends in with the left wall, and for the sake of us wierdos who sit and watch idle games, some form of speed boost would be awesome. Also, tooltips on the spells would be nice. Its definitely a solid base though, so 3/5 for it working, and not having anything bad cept it being basic.
All in all, a good, albeit basic, defense game. Definitely shows potential. I like the noncom aspect, left you doing slightly more than just holding down the mouse button. Of course, I'm sure you know what you're about to hear: 1) More upgrades. Perhaps a money percentage boost upgrade, and the ability to upgrade your snipers. By level 30 or so they are completely useless. 2) Something more needs to be done with the crystal system. Either a conversion to cash system, or using them for higher level upgrades, whatever. But with 200 of them on hand, I just started killing scientists anyway, because they were blocking my LoF and my snipers have a cease fire code whenever a scientist comes on screen (which is a nice touch, but the ability to turn it on and off would be nice).
All in all, though, a 4/5 game, kept me busy for an hour or so.
maybe its just me, but all the stocks are listed as undefined, if i try to buy or sell, my money goes NaN...doesnt leave a whole lot to do in this idle game...even for an idle game.
Excellent game! I'll be honest, I never watch story, so I can't say whether or not it was good, but gameplay was awesome. A few notes for improvement. The first, you've already heard, that being: ship customization. A shop to buy and sell weapons and modules for neoalloy would be amazing. Which leads me to suggestion number two. Replayable battles in each sector for neoalloy. Your game is great, but has virtually no replayability. By adding replayable battles in each sector, you give players who like to powerlevel and/or grind their way to epicness the option to do so. As it stands, there is a finite amount of upgrading one can do to their ships, and without the ability to customize, at very least getting to grind shields up to the thousands would be epic. Lastly, and again as suggested by others, a formation editor would be a great addition. Gameplay 4/5, Combat 4/5, Replayability 1/5, Upgrades 3/5, Overall 4/5
This has to be one of the worst control schemes for this style of game i have ever seen. For the love of the video game gods, please give us some wasd/arrow key control for movement. 1/5 til then, great potential otherwise.
Love the game. Would really like something to do with the 70mil+ gold I'm carrying around, like maybe single use, permanent effect stat boosting items for you and your pets. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd be more than happy to drop 50mil on an extra 5 or 10 points in a stat that would carry over through rebirth. I also wouldn't mind seeing some skills that add a percentage to the amount of gold or exp that you earn, or that increased drop rates past what luck adds. Last but not least, maybe some enhancement stones that let you add specific bonuses to items, could also be made ridiculously expensive, but would give you a bit more eq customization than just hoping that after leaving the window open for a night that you might have something better than what you are already using.
Aside from those suggestions, I have no complaints whatsoever, and believe that with time and development, this is an idle game that could be comparable to Tukkun's Anti-Idle. 5/5
Is anyone else having a problem with the debris collectors? Mind you, i only have three at the moment, but i don't seem to be getting anything for scraping from having them
Just wow! There is nothing bad to say about this game. Graphics are great, the strategy system is awesome, the only thing I would personally like to see (in a sequel maybe) is battalion experience levels that make them more powerful as they level up. Other than that (and that's just for making the lower level units a little more useful later in the game), this is an awesome game! 5/5
Let me be the first to congratulate you on a very good premise to a game. The graphics are more than up to par for the genre, the game play flows smoothly through the whole run, and the challenge grows at a very well balanced paced throughout a game. 4/5 Stars for the good of this game
That being said, there are a few issues, namely, I never noticed a detectable difference in fire rate no matter how much i leveled up my weapon, and damage would be hard to tell, as the zombies health (or dam. resistance) gets higher later in the game. I also wouldn't mind seeing an actual upgrade system outside of gameplay. While the bonus/award system is nice, this game has the potential for far more replayability if you could permanently level up your guard/weapon/special.
All in all, great game though, and I look forward to seeing what you make in the future.
None too shabby...each scene usually has at least one "Oh DUH! Thats where it is" object, and the art is exceptionally done. 4/5 stars which for a spot the diff game is saying a lot
thx :) The fire rate stays nearly the same, its more a damage upgrade.
