It's really hard to tell the difference between mounds and depressions. Also, it would help to graphically highlight where the ball starts so I don't have to search for the tee on every level.
Good start. Needs some power-ups, some level/health/points indicators on the screen. Your ship should probably take damage from enemy fire too. Needs different types of enemies and an end as well.
To be honest, I'd just remove the pause when you hit walls. It doesn't DO anything, it's just annoying. A health bar that goes down when you take damage from a wall would bring play to a complete stop and it would make me actually care about not touching them. Also, is it possible to make the controls smoother as far as diagonals?
Good game! Needs more courses, obviously. Either make the course bigger and scroll the screen with the car, or make the car smaller so you can reduce the side of the track letting you make it more intricate. Basically the track could be less simple. After that add some AI cars. Great start!
What exactly is fun about solving the ridiculously easy puzzles, but still being forced to replay the levels over and over until you hit the one arbitrary "sweet spot" where you're supposed to cut the chain?
Good game, but should probably just have unlimited lives, cause I don't know who's going to try and get through all the levels starting over from the very beginning every time.
