I reloaded the screen and save was working. I closed my browser and logged back in and the save was gone.

For scores (to get 3 stars): Speed should be measured in turns, not time. Health scores should be based on the % of your starting life, up to 100%. Waiting around until you get 1500% life should be a useless tactic. Kill the baddie in survival = automatic 3 stars. In defeat (turns), winning early should count big.

Hi nakka, thanks for your time writing all these good suggestions. You are wrong in the first one though, we do measure speed in turns, even though the icon looks like a timer. We will review all your other points and will let you know if we make some changes. Thanks!

Allow me to revise my previous comment: There are far too many levels. Each level takes a very long time to beat, as the game gets going. The game can seem daunting to get started on, but you end out using the same tactics over and over. It feels unfair when you lose a level after a half hour because the guy who shows up on L50 is significantly stronger than the prior baddies. 418 achievements is too many, the game is too long, and fans of prior Gemcraft games will find that this one has very little changed as far as gameplay goes.

There aren't enough levels. Also, the levels play too quickly (although the intra-level challenges feel dramatically different). The game is too easy to get started on, but you never get to use the same tactic twice after you get going. It feels fair to have a big boss come at the end of 50 waves that is significantly stronger than prior baddies. It would be nice if there were more achievements, the game is too short, and fans of the prior gemcraft games may be disappointed by how different this one plays.

Lag makes the challenges artificially difficult. An option to turn off effects would help.

I liked the game but quit because of the auctions. Gold is useless compared to tokens - Imagine if ebay charged you as much to post an item as to buy it, charged the losers in the auction the same rate as the winner, and collected from the seller the same fee whether the item sold or not.

Tip for 2-4: Restart the level until you get a favorable board. None will be perfect, but some are a LOT easier than others.

Like an old nintendo game, the challenge lies in controls that don't react immediately (or consistently).
Just FYI, the controls aren't working for me. Firefox/Windows. Holding 'D' walks forward an inch, then the guy stops.
