At one point I had 3x fire for free. Would be cool if the second/third one added a bullet shot, so 2 would be a V and 3 would be a \|/

Not giving the player any credits for a loss forces the player to only worry about killing the boss and surviving(avoiding everything) or just grind out lower levels.
