To assist with late game strategy never build an elevator more than 5 floors tall, once you unlock the suite never build another standard room, once you unlock the presidential suite only build those, guests coming to the hotel will always upgrade to the higher level room. The fewer rooms per floor assists with elevator load, try to group services together (same floor or consecutive floors). Receptions require one receptionist each, cafe and open air cafe can handle 3 times the customers with 2 waiters, check guest reviews to see what you need to build next.
Quite fun and entertaining, ending was amazing, late on coin upgrades felt pointless, and do to structure didnt get to try all weapons yet dont feel like replaying.
Wow getting 2000 points for the $1000 arcade challenge is hard, finally got it with 2001 points (got 1900s semi-often) using the following: old glider, the plank, sugar rocket, 4 fuel, 1 ramp height, for $995 spent. All bonuses maxed. Then when flying I kept my resist at -1 until I was almost touching the ground, then leveled off at resist 2, had a max speed of 61.2 (very important to keep your speed almost exactly 60 the whole time) also to minimize fuel consumption keep your altitude under 5 feet during takeoff, I angled the ramp a bit lower than the default, but closer to the default than flat. Lastly it is essential you use the mouse control option to be precise with your angle (and air resist), keeping your mouse to the right of the screen you can specifically choose your angle.
I was content taking the final boss to 25% health and quitting. Have some advice, skip acid it is never worthwhile. Also after missiles go straight to the laser. Upgrade the laser as needed until level 15, for level 15 the pulse weapon fully upgraded will kill damage the final boss faster making the fight somewhat easier. Also note that the 'z' key turns on autofire which is highly useful
7th of all time on my first try, well as others have said better can be made in under 24 hours. Maybe the fact that this was featured in the kongregate email will help draw attention to it. Gameplay was still relatively fun and worth a few minutes, 3/5.
I like the customization, and it is a fun game, but certain flaws are quite noticeable. Use of a single laser can be difficult due to the lag it generates, use of 3+ lasers is a joke. Certain weapon explanations could use more detail, such as how do two force shields stack, rather than damage per hit a DPS stat so that weapon speed could be incorporated rather than letting us guess. Have secondary weapons on separate cool-downs to improve efficiency, make the initial tutorial notice about storage more obvious you are showing us an example, make more clear how to load your prior tank, keep map data from prior play, allow secondary weapons to either be aimed during setup, or aim at the mouse rather than straight forward, etc. Just general UI and playability items that are likely being worked on. Plus this if you agree so that Herointeractive can consider these suggestions.
Well I still got a few cent tip somehow for this burger http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss272/nasajd/Untitled.jpg and my amazing service. I hadn't served a burger patty to anyone in over 5 days, yet customers still came in and although not happy provided tips...
