They didn't even put the effort into changing the islands. At least the starting island has exactly the same shape of Mergest Kingdom's starting island, just with different graphics.
1 MILLION monsters killed and 50 THOUSAND puzzles solved is INSANE! I know it's called an impossible badge, but they only give twice the points of a hard badge. They aren't worth spending hundreds or thousands of hours on. You can play multiple really fun games instead of grinding for hundreds or thousands of hours in this game. You don't need that badge. Points are useless anyway if you think about it. What really matters is fun. Are you willing to ruin thousands of hours for 120 points?
I start the game and besides the BOTD, I also get the Architect of Battle Badge suddenly. Weird that I didn't unlock it when I actually upgraded the buildings last time.
The Kongpanion Tubs would have made "First Pet Badge" a more fitting badge than "Rebirther Badge", but I got all 3 easy badges after about an hour anyway.
QSZD must be the weirdest button combinations ever. Why not just QWER or QWOP or ASDF or ASKL or ZXCV or ZXNM depending on which row of keys you want to use and if you want to play with one or two hands.
Some people are struggling with the easy BOTD. Meanwhile I wish the BOTD was the medium badge because both of them took me 5 minutes and I unlocked both at the same time after I died.
Has Kongregate learned nothing? They went from mostly Flash games for BOTD to only HTML5 games since they had to spend HOURS a day manually reviewing missing badge requests. Now they bring back Flash games for BOTD?
I think the medium badge is way easier than the hard badge. It took me a little over 40 minutes years ago while the hard badge took 7.5 hours. It really depends on what you focus on. It would have taken me less time if I just did the minigames instead of play the campaign.
Some of the tower flags don't load at all or only when you beat a level. I mean those minigames that are mandatory so they don't get sued for false advertising.
Playtime rewards don't even work. You have to stay on the main screen all the time. It doesn't count down otherwise. I played for 2 hours and it counts for less than 40 minutes.
