Hm... i pass this long ago. Click on it only cos'... i want bagde of the day and... i start playing - this game is really awsome! For those who have a problem with letting the ship - game is so kind that do not let you go until you have all job done, at the moment. Nanoglue gun has THREE parts, and head i installed like last of them... - maybe that help you out.
Anyway - seeking something to dig grave (*werid*), hahaha...
To max population growth rate put additional ppl into making food. More food - higher pop growth rate. Please read mini-walkthrough in best comment (or find mine own in previous comments)
The hardest thing was start: good is what zzxxzz3 gave plus: put all (12) ppl into field x turns, then first mysticism (1) man into - around 0.3 ppl income and to no let be lower. Next breeding - 2 ppl into, then cattle - 7 ppl into, rest of ppl into field and full temple. Mysticism - around 3-5 ppl and maxed population putting max ppl into cattle - stay around 8%. When i put a little less attention to praying than maxed population is started to make sense. Before (around) 4000 i buy stone weanpons to build barrack - build it and danger high treat drops significantly frreing extra ppl :) Try as far as you can to buy and to put ppl into production!

What is not so good? - last map is too big to see clearly your cost plus the icons are too small (or i have something with my eyes).
Few tips:
1. General: collect points for upgreades first truck speed and price, cash on start (1-2 points) then time and money or next lvls of trucks; at the end the most important time and price for plants to max! (trucks as well max)
2. Localisation of plants is major key to win the map - place one and see where you have more jobs then place next near them (max start cash help); collect all orders; buy to 5-6 trucks if you still have some money upgreade plant for at least ones; if more orders show up in another part of the city buy plant in that part and collect all of them
3. If you have enough trucks FIRST collect orders THEN buy trucks, plants or upgreades; never ever DO NOT take orders which you definitevly can't complete.

My way: use the bow as quick as you can, and use it freely (in truth i pass the game without using melee weapons (ok - in some situation dagger was enough) later i switch to crossbow, max upgreade of course and (with time) to armor.
Upgreade eagle eyes as far as you can, lockiping as well.
Buildings upgreades i usually started from mines and rather focus on one section of city.
When out of funds i run few times battle - this gave me large sum of money.
In last hard battles, in critical moments poison arrows are priceless - i had target big boss and he started to stop the flowing mobile infrnatry - just don't get to close to them (and don't kill them). As far as you turn some of big bosses at 'your' side - they not only don't fight with you but HELP YOU to finish time challenges.
Try to upgreade (when res allow you) towers - with stronger gate and seldefence system (active space)- often you can stop and kill all of the invaders.

5. Economy: at first build 2 cities, 2 farms, 2 sawmills, (if good place) 1 temple and one shrine of each mana, then 1 or 2 factories (if you have good locations temples, shrines, and factories can you protect from some first disasters) later you can figured out what you need more and built it; 3 city is nessesery to place.
With full resources, protection of your vital buildings you can changes your square around nexus as you wish (even to rise up 7 mountains and then get rid of them)
ONe comment on endlees mode: "Och no..., no more, i have enough..., i could click far more (i think) but not anymore..., no 3x eartquake or mix of 3 or more tectionc drifts and earthquakes..., please....!" :)
Very nice game.
Big plus that rules are very simple, no so easy in playing, however. Nice graphic.
Few tips in endless mode: 1. Place mine nexus in the corner of map, at approximatly 2 squares from ends and keep clear straight lines for tectonic drifts helps me a lot (especially when i need to get rid of mountains).
2. Puase the game is very handy when planning planet landscape changes (like some1 said in his post - not my tip)
3. First i put on feet all economy and upgreades then i start to build nexus (maybe luickily i don't have annoying major tectionc drifts 3x in a row during this).
4. Use combination of cancel and delay as soon as you can if you want to avoid 2 or more disaster in a row - it is possible to avoid at least 2 of them
Other tactic is: if one tectonic drift don't ruin your buildings maybe pass it through - maybe next one will be in reverse direction or you can use your tectionc drift to undo changes.
I really like this game, and I can long write about.
So i mention maybe the most important thing for me - this game has his own unique flavour.
But overall there a few details which about which i want to write:
- i miss about stats of my current guns (i.e. if i point cursor over them) + info about dmg they dealt
- i very miss about stopping game when i buy new gun (or upgrade one i own) + info about how stats will change if i upgrade new gun - that will help a lot to think about strategy, especially at the beginning
- from some point there was no chance to see how mine full set of gun works cos' i wasn't able to upgrade it fully till end of waves, so i must still watch to re-arming or upgrade guns (it should be a nice moment in game to watch (or to think what change in placement) how they handle with hostiles)
Besides this (for me this game has a lots of pluses like i write) 5/5.
For me a very good game:
fine graphic, not bad music, and above this very playable (not to short - not to long, just enough to end it and don't start boring). From 5/5 for it (in category of good, short flash games).
My way: pass all lvl on the easiest difficulty then end all achievments and then on the highest difficulty. In the meanwhile upgreading money, regeneration and cost skills, then meteor spell - all to max, later rest of the skills (and spells if you want). In the offensive style of the game you should complete all lvls on the highest difficulty - try to be quick when you start any maps.
Only two things from me - first maybe completing all the lvls with the golden flowers or all the challenges is worth a some badge (even for 15 pts.), the game was fun to pass all the challenges without it however.
Second - a bit frustrating was when i choose to plant seed or cast a spell and can't easily switch to planted seed to change their state (only esc working).
One of my first defence game on Kong.
Many times try to achive happy end..., and then full satisfaction!
Easy rules not complicated, clear goal.
For me? Classic...
hm..., may I ask how can I save my progress? After launching next day I must start from the beginning, it's a little frustrating thing.... I miss something?
Overall game is fine.
This game is not bad after all, however there are some really annoying things...
1. In design mode why the cross points can't be moved easily? It's make people nervoius to remeber in exactly where ponit should be, then use eraser, then switch to material, then use (click, click, and click again...) - it's not so fun.
2. I see that some kind of grid or some easy way for placement of cross-point (i find difficult to place them where they should be placed) is needed.
3. Picking up and moving sections also hotkey for eraser are mentioned.
I sense that after that more players can feel more comfortable constructing the bridge and have more fun watching how it's working (maybe only animation instead manually-clicking guys?)
