"New York was attacked! There were no casualties, and 216 survivors have been found. The town suffers no financial loss." Why, thank you for that breaking news, lady!
Whew! 2 hours later, I'm done. 11 hints, found all 4 hardcore emblems, and NO walkthrough. BEAUTIFUL last level. Epic work with all the layering. And art in general.
Spelling error: "I landed on his planet." I think you meant "this." I believe this was the memory snippet when he found his capsule above where the game started. (this was the only spelling error I found, good job!)
It took 3 full days for the last <100 people to die. Seriously? That put me up to 101 days, total. And I was lucky enough to start in Madagascar, too. -_-
Protip: When attempting to bounce off foes/targets, HOLD DOWN THE JUMP BUTTON and then press attack at the right time. A + S do NOT need to be pressed simultaneously, as long as A is already held down. MAKES LEVEL 17A POSSIBLE!!!!
Ha! It IS possible to beat a dragon without Divine Edge! Very difficult and luck based, but with fully upgraded armor + weapon, and full health to start, it's possible.
ARGH!!!! What's #49 in the Codex, and how do I get it? That must be something from beating the nightmare, since that's the only thing I have yet to do... It's right between "magical gem" and "huge gem."
For all of you complaining about the hard badge: leave it as it is. The impossible badge should be, "Adventure completed without losing any equipment." Also, if the farmer only paid 10 coins to be split among 6 pigs, and they can pick up 1000+ coins on the 300 mile journey, then what is their motivation to travel?
I will add my voice to the numerous others about the controls: I son't mind down/S for down, or click for jump, or up/W for fly... My biggest problem is that click will also end flying. I don't know how many times I've double clicked to double jump, and then hit W somewhere in there to avoid falling in mud... Only to have one of those extra clicks accidentally cancel out my flight. Using down/S to cancel flight would make a lot more sense than the "jump" key.
Also, as previously mentioned, more upgrades (even silly ones that don't actually help) would be fantastic - just *something* to spend all those coins on for those attempting the hard badge, after all pig upgrades are complete!
