Well, I quit. Once you build to the point where you should be able to help fight, you realize that this game is sorely lacking balance. There are about a half dozen players in Rome that simply dominate the game. In Contested Zones, it just takes one or two of their heroes to defeat an entire empire trying to defend a city.
Maybe I'll play again if a new server comes up with safeguards against the table being so horribly tilted in favor of a few likely cheaters/exploiters.
Genre selection is what puts this over the top. If it was all random, the suck would be immense. Letting me listen to the kinds of music I like may seem like a minor thing, but it's full of win and makes all the difference. 5/5
I enjoyed this so much that I had to leave another comment: this is a much larger game than it first appears. So many new places keep popping up. It's not too hard, but there sure is lots to do.
Do we have to keep hiring heroes in order to make room for new ones? Can't we just tell the heroes available for hire to go away? And switching between tabs without having the close the current one would be nice, too.
4/5. Would be 5/5 but the interface is a bit tedious.
