It's rare that I find a trials game which isn't a sack of crap - this one was great. Especially liked the rockfalls and the need to move beams to travel on. If the 'next level' button just took you to the next level it'd be nice, and I suppose it felt a bit short, but not much else wrong.
While appreciating the additional upgrades, ships, etc... what's the point in them being there when the only way to acquire the good ones is tedious grinding? And not just a little bit of grinding. A lot.
Has heaps of potential, but not as good as it could have been. Just seems very shallow and surface-scratchy. Still a decent bit of fun for a few minutes, though.
Badly made, appears to also be badly translated (unless the characters are supposed to speak like that). Rapes CPU for no apparent reason. Gameplay is nothing special or new, it's just a basic 'pathfinder' game with fancy graphics. I just don't get how anyone in their right mind would think this was good enough to be used as a promotional tool. And seriously, what was going through your mind when you rang Kingregate and said 'hey, we'll give you money to promote this for us'? I hope the console version is a thousand times better, but I doubt this will inspire anyone to go find out.
Love that the more challenging stuff is there right from the start in this one... nice to not have to sit through 20 or so easy ones now I know what to do - great expansion of LM2.
Normally like launch games but this one just isn't much fun. Lack of any real control and so many unavoidable things, score based on an RNG... and the fact it feels like I'm firing the squirrel backwards, all conspire to make it quite poor.
I can actually hear my soul crying, feel it struggling desperately within me, tearing apart neurons and fighting against the back of my eyelids, doing all it can to stop me playing this game so it won't shrivel up and die.
Does something different that I haven't seen before - and I like the tentacles more than the usual 'fire a group of stuff'. Original yet extremely simple and great fun - exactly what I love in a Flash game.
@chumtin - no, I think people rate it low because people are sick of 'make town, build stuff, build army, attack people, zzzz...' games. The ridiculous prices are a factor of course, but really it's just the fact it's the same old crap, wrapped up in different paper.
Still a few bugs, mostly around adding and removing stuff. Quite often tried to sell a gun and it just floated there in the selection panel. Tried adding guns and they didn't appear on my tank in the game. And removing guns and them still being on the tank. Otherwise pretty good game, though.
