Nice graphics, but got to say poor gameplay. Feels like I'm trying to steer an oil tanker, which is especially irksome for aiming at the ground troops. And having an immense gun taking up so much room on the screen doesn't help either. 5/5 graphics, but 2/5 gameplay.
Would be much better if it didn't hoover up memory like a turbocharged Dyson... and that's just the menu screen, haven't even clicked the button to play it yet. Yes I do have a crap computer, but if far more advanced, large and detailed games can control their usage, this one should be able to as well.
Loved it - great change from the usual system for the genre and everything fits together nicely to make a top game. And the star being a laser-firing cyborg bird just makes it even better. 5/5.
Wow, really impressed. When I first opened it I expected an arty movie with little gameplay, but found a good, solid platformer with top graphics. Great work.
Started off fun, but slowly descended into tedium... level 23 just took an absolute age of standing firing a minigun, and can't be bothered to go further. Even if later levels do have better enemies, it'll take me so long to get there it's not worth it. If it finished at level 22 and then had a few more modes instead of the levels after 22, it'd be much better. 5/5 for the start, but 4/5 for the slow fall into boredom.
It tends to help if the images we're supposed to be spotting the difference between are the same size, and show the same amount of each picture. Rather than bits being cut off the sides of one image, providing numerous 'wrong' differences...
Why do you get better scores and experience for sitting around making a battle take ages than you do for actually doing the battle well? It's like a handicap for being good at the game...
Looks like it has potential, but the archer thing removes all challenge unless you choose to avoid it. Which most people probably won't. Then there's the language - drop by the forums and there'll be dozens of people more than happy to proof and native-ise any translations.
Loved it, as I did the ones which came before. Plenty of thought and good timing required, without the need for pin-point pixel hunting. Relatively easy to finish, but lowering your score provides enough to keep challenge-hunters interested.
Love to play more, but it's somewhat impossible to smash invincible glass bottles, so I can't go beyond the 4th Veteran job... submitted bug report, shall see what happens I suppose.
