omg...just let me PLAY the game! i don't need a lengthy LITERAL hand holding exercise designed for people too stupid to even TEST this game. and yes, that IS why tutorials are designed this way. because the people testing the game are too dumb to figure out basic gameplay.
i wish the concept of originality and creativity still existed for game devs. nowadays you're FAR more likely to see a game devs going "look at me, i made the same thing that other guy did but mine looks or plays slightly different" instead of actual new and original ideas.
del6627182 is correct. this is a clone of Idle Breakout. a DIRECT clone. balls, ball effects, upgrade screen... the only real change you've made, aside from graphics, is the addition of turrets.
regarding the update message and art: yes, the art is basic but...an artists is their own worse critic and while this can be annoying, it's also a good thing that can push you to improve with time and practice. better to be aware of and see problem areas you need to improve upon rather than thinking crap is great and never improving, right?
suggestion regarding auto attack: change the targeting system to aim where the enemy IS instead of having it try to predict where the enemy will BE. currently arzoth likes to aim in the opposite direction of where enemies actually are because he's not aiming at the target but rather he's trying to predict where they'll be.
could this have a more unwieldy method of scrolling around? not only is it click & hold then the screen moves based on the direction you move the mouse but it's that and INVERTED! that's one of the worst approaches to something so simple i've ever seen.
Thank you for your feedback! Interestingly, I had a lot of users also request the opposite - that movement controls be inverted like on mobile. It might be a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation :-) By the way, you can also use WASD/cursor keys to navigate.
"RPG maker normally rewards you after each battle, to make it so this game could be idle, I had to remove the rewards from monsters themselves and add a person to collect rewards from."...... so...to make the game more "idle"...you made it LESS "idle"... nice logic, game dev.
To further explain: after each battle a text would appear that would be your reward text, and would require you to press spacebar or click to continue. in order to make this game so you can battle the gate multiple times in a row I had to remove that text. hope this helps!
annnd the game won't load even after multiple page refreshes. it's that kongregate pre-loader screen but the bar is full with a thin bright red strip repeatedly crossing it but...no game.
and energy system to limit how long one can play your game? welp, time to stop playing as the dev clearly doesn't want me to play their product. i don't play games designed like that as it's stupid AND the fact it has a cash shop tells me the game has gone from idle to pay-2-win which is where i drop a game on the spot.
Great suggestion :) The auto aim will get improved very soon. Please let me know if you have more suggestions!
