It may sound weird, but right after I wrote the last comment about the lag, the game stopped lagging. And it wasn't only the first few seconds in the first level. I had lag from like level 2 to 7. Maybe a problem with cinematic, although it didn't start lagging again when I reenabled it. Or a weird ad thing from Kong.
A great game to feature a badge of the day. From all games that can be played beyond the last achievment this is one of few I really played much even after getting it.
I haven't lost many people in my life, yet this music and the acoustic tell the story of an old person to me, lying in their chair in a sunflooded room with a big glass front and an open door to a lonely garden, relaxed and satisfied with their past and realizing how unimportant their end will be compared to the everlasting life outside that is going to continue without them. And then it all slowly fades to black. – Damn, this game is brainmelting as well.
Either I'm not so super clever or concluding the right things is pretty random. However, I really dislike getting thrown into an unpredictable one-way end-scene. Of course I can reload and then collect the missing clues, but it's not the same. It feels like having lost the game.
Rotation control tip: If you want to walk on the RIGHT WALL, press the RIGHT rotation button (E). If you want to walk on the LEFT WALL, press the LEFT rotation button (Q). After I got this in my head I didn't confuse them anymore.
On level 23, I wasn't able to remove parts that resemble inner parts after placing them, e.g. just on white. Is that a feature or a bug? Apart from that this game is great. Maybe I would buy it, if it wasn't incompatible to my Android.
Is the Tenderizer challenge (area 4) bugged? I actually did it two times (once with shotgun, once with something else, forgot it), but I didn't get the challenge. Do I need a specific weapon?
For stage 20, I took a screenshot and did one or two test plays just wasting blocks to see how the teleporters are connected. I drew these connections onto my screenshot. That's one huge help for sure. One small tip that helped me: One red block needs to be solidified in a column between the red starting positions.
I give this a 5/5 despite some annoyances. (SPOILERS AHEAD) It took me a long time to figure out that I have to use the crossbow and not the special arrow. I think the latter should be allowed as well. To use the lighter on the tombstone to give her a reason to open it was also very difficult to figure out in my opinion. It should be reason enough that she has not many options down there and desperately needs any way out. The candle could have been enough hint for her as well.
Don't let you scare away by the experiences with the newest Burrito Bison (Launcha Libre). Burrito Bison and Burrito Bison Revenge are not too grindy and actually very nice games. Only the third part is a grind fest.
After I “borrowed” granny the 300th coin for a newspaper and gave the child his 500th coin, I received my third free hair cut that day and made some sandwiches for the workers, because my butler took the evening off. As I just returned to my throne, that homeless cat came by again and wanted some food. Luckily, the mouse brought me the coins to pay the cat food. I had almost fallen asleep as that weird sea monster demanded a compensation for the annoying fishermen again. What a royal life.
Because it IS the Minecraft's cake! Consider it an easter egg :D
