Level 28 is probably guesswork, isn't it? If not, please give me some hints on strategies that help me solving it. I'm a bit low on motivation for it after two hours of trying.
Am I the only one extremely annoyed by the flickering background? I'd probably go for the hard badge if I could cope with the background. Great game apart from that.
Gordon Bennet, that are these pictures where you have this magic colorless pen and when you drive that pen over the shapes in the picture they get the appropriate color automagically (because they hid the color in the dots distrubuted among the shapes, but we kids didn't know that, did we?).
I mostly enjoyed this part, but the long cemetary sequence got a bit annoying after I failed many times right before its end and every time it reset me to the very beginning. It was just frustrating and killed the fun. I'd have liked to have more checkpoints in that sequence. IMO the decisions there (or rather their outcome) are mostly random and I always got the relevant information after I failed and not before so that I could make the right decision ("Oh, he has night vision BTW. Bye!", "Oops, we forgot to tell you that he's standing at a distance. DO IT ALL AGAIN *trollface*"). Because of that I can only give 5/6 stars.
XD We're sorry about that! It was sort of an experiment... :(
To be honest, some clues where given, though u.u About the night vision, for example, Mr. Gilbert noticed that Mentzen was the only one to not use a flashlight, and he just remembered Mentzen was a goblinoid. But you're right, it was pretty hard anyway.
(We laughed so hard thinking about Mr. Gilbert trollfacing people, anyway XD)
U.U We deeply apologize and so we'll give your comment just 18/7 stars! ;)
It loaded much faster today so I could finally play it. It's more of an interactive story than a game, but although I was sceptical at first the story caught me somehow, so good job. I'll definitely have a look at the sequel soon.
Also I think it's pretty awesome that ExperaGameStudio answers every comment. But why didn't you add simple badge for completing the game? I'm sure this would get much more people to play this.
Thank you :)
We're glad you're liking the story. And yes, we decided to answer all the comment we'll be able to!
About the badge, we thought about it, but it depends on kongregate... we'll try to give badges in our next game, anyway :)
We hope you'll like the other three episode as well! Let us know!
Game takes ages to load with a 16M internet connection. I think it has just stopped now. A bummer. I put it on the playlist and hope it'll work some time.
Basically this is Decision 3 with a different set of graphics, story and weapons and with some of the advanced features and the blackscreen bug missing.
I would have liked to have a method of getting more gold to test out all those fancy upgrades, but I got to 100% before being able to buy them all and now there is no point anymore and it's pretty boring and slow to get money after all the chests, stashes and missions have been done. A bummer, because the end-game upgrades seem pretty fun.
A point and click game with a (yet unearned) hard badge that is neither on the front page in the trending games nor on my playlist? HOW COULD THAT HAPPEN? DID YOU TRY TO MAKE ME MISS THIS, KONG?
Anyway - looking forward to playing this. :)
Okay, so, I made up my mind. This game is awesome. It's very addictive and much fun and I'm fighting the urge to complete it to 100% (currently at 80%), but I'm at a point where like every 1.5 missions I get a blackscreen after loading and it makes me aggressive and takes away my lifetime, because I have to reload the whole game every time and watch the sponsor intros etc.
I had a time where the blackscreen came like every 10 missions. It was annoying, but acceptable. Now it isn't anymore. I tried everything to have less blackscreens and one time I somehow managed to play for a long time, but then never again and it makes me furious to not have control over that.
It's very hard for me to take back my 5 star rating and give a 1 star rating, but I'll do it right now. As soon as the bug has been fixed, this game will get 150 stars from me.
Please, FlyAnvil, fix that, it so damn ruins this wonderful game.
I'd really like to enjoy this more, but I keep getting blackscreens randomly at the start of a mission, then have to reload the page and wait minutes until it loaded again and showed me all those fancy sponsor screens...
After countless nights with flashing green UP-letterings haunting me right after closing my eyes, after decades of having the music stuck in my head and hearing dying men scream in pain, after spending months figuring out the perfect plan, I finally rendered the attackers unable to touch my gems at all and earned the hard badge.
Never fought so hard for a hard badge. This game is an all-time favorite. Old but gold. 5/5 start and my ♥.
PRO TIP: You can use any key (NEITHER C NOR R!) on the keyboard (after clicked on the game once for focus of course). Using two fingers might be easier for you. Can't remember a game I failed so hard at, but still kept the chill until I played through it. Please moar levels, i.e. a sequel. But less epileptic would be cool. 5/5 anyway.
