review pt 1
Not a bad TD game but, I agree with the other reviewers, it needs some tweeking. Mainly in the towers and enemies area. In most TD games upgraded towers are more effective than a bunch of non upgraded towers. In this game I started with a level four wind tower and was completely wiped out by wave 4 on level 4. This isn't cool I spent all my gold on one tower and got practically nothing out of it. But when I tried it again and spent all my gold on all level one towers I didn't have to touch the game until wave 7. The benefits for upgrading need to go up or the cost for upgrades needs to go way down.
First off the blue and purple that you chose are too similar. I am not color blind and it was still very difficult to tell the difference. In the third level, the extra bubbles came much too quickly as well as being hindered by the blue/purple bubbles. There were many times that I got more bubbles two shots in a row.
This is a good game, but there are a few sensitivity glitches around the acid. I was going in the opposite direction and well away from the acid I kept getting sucked in. other than that good game.
The game was good. a few things it needs are a loot all button, more weapon types, more monster types, more armor options, a full screen map, more towns and an endgame area. Purhaps actually escaping the island.
Even in medieval times someone taking weeks off to rest from 3-5 weeks of work would be fired and mocked and have earned the rep of a lazy lackabout that shouldn't be trusted with work of any type. With that said the rest vs stress vs activities system needs some rework or replacement. Players end up spending a majority of their time resting it would be great if you could reduce the resting requirement somehow. Also as combat is something that the player can't control could you put in a fast forward option in future games?
I have played all three of the pet protector games and I gotta say that this is the best one so far.
