The game is so buggy that I can't believe it has a rating of 4.34. I liked it, and it has the potential for a badge-worthy game, but the bugs everyone here has mentioned really need to be fixed. 3 stars from me.
I've smashed a lot of gummies, but the challenge still reads "you need 400 more". I'm connected to chat and everything. Is anyone else having trouble with the challenge?
What a great game! At first I thought that the AI succeeds in saving the world, but then I read the comments, pieced together the frozen time with the "this is a dream" in binary, the fact that the AI shouldn't be able to walk around, and all those references to pain and agony and calls for help that are found inside the texts like reality creeping in and realised with a heavy heart that this is a dream that the AI just made up to comfort itself while the world was being destroyed. In any case, beautiful. True art.
in an average lifetime, the average american spends 19,292 dollars? Buying Gifts. I thought I'd post this in a comment to help out, because I'm sure very few people could guess it.
Nice game, but I'm disappointed by the ending. It was abrupt and didn't really explain anything. I wanted to know why he killed her, but it seems that it was just a nonsensical impulse. Anyway, I'd give Fixation 5 stars, but minus 1 star because of the awful smoke ring mechanic. You didn't have to make it as difficult as blowing smoke rings in real life :(
This is one of the best games on the site, and is sure to get badges. The only minor complaints I've got are that you can't skip the cutscenes, and that the music gets repetitive after a while (I'd have liked it if there was different music for forest, mountains, caves and catacombs, to match the visual "mood" in each place). I can't wait for the sequel! (A level editor would be nice as well ^_^)
"A little help from my friends" could be made more challenging by putting the gem right next to the pressure switch, requiring Questy to take the upper route [yes, there is a way to do that ;-)].
