There should be separate buttons for reset and clear. Sometimes I want to make small changes in the placement of objects, I don't want to have to start all over again.
The animation of the bee flying at you is maybe OK to use between levels, but not after every restart. Restart should be instantaneous, delay is annoying. That's the only thing that bothered me so far. Very good game, I like it!
So if I don't stop for a drink my friend has already climbed out the well when I get there, but if I do stop for a drink he still needs rescuing when I reach him? Does he climb out and then fall in again or something?
I just sat mesmerised for God knows how long, watching the sugar on the menu screen snow down until it completely settled. And then I suddenly remembered there was a game.
This is exactly the same as Rolling Hero. What's worse, it has the same horrible physics. If you're going to make a clone, at least clone a good game (or improve on the original).
The character's movement while I'm tilting the level doesn't seem to make much sense. He rolls to the opposite direction, which is weird. Also, you need to spellcheck, a good portion of the level titles are spelled wrong.
OK this is really stupid: Tutorial says to mouse over all the menu options to see what they are. I passed the mouse over all of them ONCE, and now when I try it again to read the description all I get is the message "Good job! You moused over all the menu options..." I never got to read the descriptions and now they seem to have disappeared forever. I guess the mouseover only works ONCE. How stupid is that?
The controls are a little awkward, but then again I don't see how else this could have worked. Precision can be a pain, but nevermind; it's a nice relaxing game without a timer. Add Kong API and it may even get badges.
