Poor clone of super stacker. 1) Steep difficulty curve (a timing puzzle on level 2 already!), which makes me think you numbered the levels at random rather than based on content. 2) As of level 12, puzzles aren't creative enough to make me think. So far it's been just "cram in as many pieces as possible". I hope that changes later. 3) Changing the direction of gravity adds nothing to the gameplay. It would be awesome if different blocks went different directions, but if every block goes the same direction, what's the point? They might as well go downwards. And no, making them fall diagonally does NOT constitute "multiple directions of gravity". 4) I didn't expect great graphics, but a bit of variety would have been nice. 5) No restart button. (Also, needs shortcut for mute.) I generally don't rate a game before I've played most of it, but right now I'd give it 3 stars.
Cool game. Old concept, but very creative levels. Just one problem: Sometimes the keystrokes don't register, even though there's no lag. It's definitely not my keyboard. It's no big deal since this game doesn't seem to rely very much on timing, but still you can lose a couple of seconds and it's annoying. For now, I'm giving it 5 stars, but I may deduct a star if later levels need precise timing and the glitch becomes an obstacle.
Oh and did I mention Canada? So huge... If you don't know a city in Canada, you lose a LOT. Way to screw up a good score. I HATE CANADA! *looks around* No wait wait, guys, I didn't mean it to sound like that *runs from angry canadian crowd*
Small countries are great because you can get many points just by hitting the right country even if you don't know the city, but then you get a city in the US, China, Russia, Brazil, Argentina or Australia and it screws up your score. Chile is the worst since you can be such a long way off... also, is there another way to zoom in and out besides the right click menu? It's hard to get a strike without zooming in.
Just the kind of puzzle game I like. 5 stars and I'm hoping for a medium badge for completion :) On another note, something wierd: I solved the music puzzle by chance (I was clicking the buttons randomly)! The chances of that happening are 1 in 120 o.O I should go play the lottery :P
Just like Blocks With Letters On, this is a great intellectual game conspicuously lacking an Undo button. One wrong move and I have to start over :( Also, I'd like to be able to toggle between the blocks using keyboard. Right-handed people like me can use ASDW and press space with their thumb while their right hand is on the mouse, but I imagine it must be annoying for the left-handed. Lastly, an adjustment for the colorblind would be nice. All in all, I'm giving Blockage 5 stars, but in case you're considering a sequel there is still room for improvement. Keep it up :)
Action Turnip was an excellent Canabalt clone. This one is mediocre, despite its superior graphics. There's just no variety (random background events such as cameras and birds don't count, since they don't add to the gameplay). You tried to make it achievement-based, but most of the achievements are of the type "have your picture taken 10 times"; namely, things you get just by playing a lot and not by skill. Overall, a good game, but seriously lacking in originality and imagination. 4 stars from me.
Strange that so many people say they hate the controls... personally I like the circle, I find it easier than the controls in guitar hero. I think it's more intuitive. Maybe it's just a matter of habit?
Runs fine until you beat it for the first time, and then becomes buggy as hell. Keyboard commands not working, resuming on a random level instead of the one I've picked, zoomy extra sticking even on the menu screen... I was going to rate it 5 stars, but I think I'll wait until all the bugs are fixed.
It didn't save my progress... big fail. Even the best gameplay in the universe can't salvage a game that loses all your progress between sessions. Also, the tutorial isn't a tutorial since it doesn't explain anything; just call it level 1.
Wrong category yet again. This is a great ACTION game with a lot of fast-paced ACTION, though as others have said the ACTION doesn't follow the penguins closely enough. I don't know if you're following me...
This one not only has better physics, but it's also more "friendly" than the others. Achievements, a level select screen, a chance to improve your score on each level separately, and a level editor push this game even beyond "very good" and make it badge-worthy in my eyes. 5 stars :)
TranceMusic seems right on most parts, but to me it seems like he was going to die but was saved at the last moment through force of will (ringing the bell), because a) the boat didn't leave with him, and b) there was a reference to him opening his eyes in the end. His sister's fate is unknown to him (I'm thinking, they were both in an accident or something like that); I say that because he changes his mind all the time (she's in the basement; no, she's fine; no, she's dead; no, he'll see her again). He's obviously worried about her, and blaming his father (maybe because he caused the accident? I don't know).
The solutions don't usually make much sense, but still, nice game. A possible bug: I used the chainsaw and survived the level but I didn't get the achievement.
